How to create and add screening questions to your job

In step 2 of creating your job, you can add screening questions to filter applicants. This step is optional because every job already includes four standard questions.

We recommend adding no more than three extra questions so candidates do not abandon the application.

What kind of questions can you add?

You can add:

  • Open-ended questions (Text field).
  • Code challenges (Source code).
  • Multiple choice questions (Options).

You can mark questions as required or leave them optional.

For code challenges, you can write the prompt and add help text or examples. You can also choose the language or let applicants decide. If you need examples, you can use external platforms such as:

How can you assess the answers?

For open-ended, multiple choice, and source code questions, you can create assessment scorecards and assign them to your job. Once assigned, you can evaluate each applicant in their card from the process view.
