On Get on Board, “unlocking” a job is equivalent to purchasing a publication. The difference is that you can publish a job for free and pay only if the applicants match what you need.
While your job is locked, you can only access a preview of each candidate’s information. That preview does not include contact details, which helps you decide whether to unlock the job.
If you do not unlock the job, it stays posted for seven days. After that, you must pay again to repost it and to access applicant information.
When you unlock a job: - You can access all applicant contact data, including email, CV, and LinkedIn. - You can send messages to applicants. - You can activate Boost to accelerate the search. - You can use the ATS-style pipeline to move candidates through stages and leave private notes.
Unlocking a job is permanent. You keep access to all applicants from that job, even after closing the process. After four months, you cannot edit the job or apply Boost, so it is best to close and duplicate the process if you want to relaunch it.
If you have an active subscription, every job you publish within your plan is automatically unlocked.
