Test Automation Engineer in 3Nets

3nets.io. is a Santa Clara, CA-based company engaged in developing a service-aware elastic networking platform that adapts to the needs of customer applications including the modern microservices-based application environment. The software-based platform leverages commercially available hardware and public and private cloud infrastructure. The enterprises or MSPP's customers could express intent through policy rules that control and drive the network's behavior.

• Automation and testing engineer developing tests & automation across UI & backend; research & improve coverage, performance & optimization
• REST API automation and UI testing experience is necessary.
• Work closely with other product engineers, test engineers, and customer engineers to improve and deliver a high-quality product.
• Familiarity with Cloud Providers, Networking, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Terraform, Automation Tools (e.g. Robot, Selenium, Cypress), Python
• Take ownership and work independently to improve product quality and allow faster and better release cycles
• You will work under the guidance and leadership of a US team and actively bring feedback and novel approaches to Test & Automation.

• At least 2-3 years testing and automation experience in a modern SCRUM/Agile environment
• Proficient with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, others), Networking (cloud & traditional), and good awareness of modern CI/CD development principles
• Proficient programming skills in Python/Golang etc., and other automation/scripting tools
• Good Networking knowledge L2-L4, Routing protocols (e.g., BGP), Security (e.g. IPSec, VPNs) or experience in Networking product development.
• Experience with large scale testing with orchestrated cloud infrastructure is a major plus.
• Good understanding of virtualization technologies like Containers and Kubernetes, and Virtual Machines.
• Must be a motivated self-starter with desire and ability to lean in for guidance, independently propose ideas and test approaches, and maintain continuous contact with development
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.

• Ability to identify best/ideal processes suitable for automation and successfully own and drive these efforts.
• Hacker mentality with strong Linux system administration or development, with continuous desire to take upon challenging tasks
• The ability to deliver results in a short time and experience working in fast paced high-growth tech companies. Must understand Agile/Scrum methodologies and work with Github.
