Funciones del cargo

Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Collaborate effectively with offshore teams in India to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure compliance with client's standard working hours (9 AM to 6 PM EST) and meticulous task and hour logging in Jira.
Upgrade and migrate applications as necessary, ensuring seamless transitions.
Provide support and maintenance for existing applications, including debugging, feature enhancement, and optimization.

Requerimientos del cargo

● Solid experience with Ruby on Rails
● Previous exposure to RSpec, MySQL, Git, Unix Exposure (Linux/MacOS)
● Experience with versions upgrade and/or migration from other languages to Ruby on Rails
● Experience with support and maintenance
● Action cable, hotwire
● AWS (polices definition, DynamoDB)
● Great communication skills and advanced English proficiency
● Assertiveness and agility

Nice-to-have skills
● Exposure to Salesforce integration
● JavaScript (Vanilla.js)
● Jenkins

Additionally, everyone is required to meticulously log their tasks and work hours in Jira. For example, if someone works 4 hours on a specific task, they must provide comprehensive details about it.
