About the role
You will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will influence and support your team to champion and deliver high quality, secure and scalable software.
We are a fully cloud-based platform and we are in the middle of a major modernisation initiative moving to .net 6 - so you’ll be working on the latest and greatest to build the future of Plutora
Your key responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality, secure, scalable software
Work with team leads, developers, product managers, QA, and devOps to develop solutions that drive our business goals, make work easier for our customers and deliver good performance, scalability, and reliability.
Participate in and help drive the best possible ways of working for software development including Continuous Improvement, CI/CD and test automation.
Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling tech debt, conducting code reviews, initiate refactoring and improve build and test systems

Experience and skill we are looking for
You have deep knowledge and experience in application development with .Net C# - ideally .net core
Experience with Angular or React for front end development
You have experience with modern javascript frameworks
You understand the design, implementation and operation of distributed Microservices and APIs
Understanding of API Security Best Practices
Experience in Entity Framework, EF Core, SQL Server/PostgreSQL
You have experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (Git, Terraform, Cypress, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy)
Experience working on a SAAS platform would be extremely beneficial
Good communication skills and ability to work with key stakeholders to produce a desired outcome.
You are proficient in English, both spoken and written. You are comfortable discussing technical topics in English and explaining yourself through written form (Slack / Confluence)
Conditions
Most of our product engineering team are based in Australia, so this role will require a slight adjustment of working hours to ensure maximum work day coverage between Sydney and South America.
