Job Functions

We are looking for an experienced Node/React full-stack developer to join our team full-time. You will work closely with Pulsar founders and some of the best full-stack and machine learning engineers to build new features for our core product (SaaS web application) and internal admin tools. The job involves interesting design challenges including large-scale data streaming, real-time analytics, and ML data pipelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience
Strong experience building, testing and deploying APIs using Node.js
Strong in React.js and frontend fundamentals (HTML, Javascript and CSS)
Proficient with state management (Redux)
Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
Experience writing unit and integration tests
Demonstrated experience of shipping high-quality product features on schedule
Excellent communication skills

Bonus Points

Experience using AWS cloud services
Experience with Typescript
Previous experience working with Microservices and/or Serverless applications
Familiar with CI/Deployment pipelines
Experience building software products at an early-stage fast-growing startup
