Job functions

We are looking for a Backend Developer who is strong in API integration, data sources, authentication, and ideally has some experience with healthcare (although not necessary). The type of person we are looking for is a dynamic, experienced candidate excited to jump into our hustling and bustling startup culture. The ideal candidate is a team player who can build simple and elegant solutions to big problems involving expansive datasets and distributed systems.

  • Set the technical direction for our backend architecture, ensuring others understand and buy into your vision.
  • Be a key player in building an engineering culture to be proud of, introducing best practices and helping others maintain a high bar of excellence.
  • Write well-formulated, well-tested and readable code.
  • Potentially complete some smaller Frontend tasks.

Qualifications and requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Python and Django
  • 4+ years of experience with Docker and API's
  • Experience with Vue and JavaScript for small Front-end tasks is preferred
  • Advanced level of written and spoken English
