Technical Delivery Lead in Apply Digital Latam

The Delivery lead is accountable for the quality and timely completion of a project’s technical deliverables. This is a leadership role with aspects of software engineering, system architecture and team management.

The Delivery Lead will likely oversee 1-2 projects, combining technical expertise, leadership and collaboration skills. They aim to be versatile in various software development areas, proposing effective solutions and fostering team communication. While sometimes writing code to fill skill gaps, the Delivery Lead prioritizes other responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Delivery Leads to establish project architecture and technology stack.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for component interactions.
• Coordinate with the project manager for resource allocation, delegation, and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product manager and QA team for comprehensive test planning.
• Address security concerns and act as primary technical contact for the client.
• Assist team members in resolving obstacles and provide mentorship.
• Identify and mitigate risks with project manager.
• Promote Agile delivery, prioritize features, and participate in Scrum rituals.
• Advocate for craftsmanship and implement code analysis tools.
• Set up code branching model and CI/CD pipeline.
• Provision environments and foster collective code ownership.
• Address technical debt and advocate for user experience.
• Provide input on design feasibility and collaborate with UX/UI teams.

• 7+ years experience as a Technical Delivery Lead or similar role, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and relevant technologies.
• Ability to collaborate, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines with project and product managers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail in maintaining documentation.
• Skilled in resolving technical challenges, providing guidance to team members, and removing blockers.
• Commitment to high-quality software solutions, code analysis, and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, deployment practices, and version control systems.
• Focus on improving the user experience and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Strong leadership skills, fostering teamwork and collective code ownership.
• Eagerness to stay updated with industry trends and contribute to process improvement.
