About Gain

Gain is an easy-to-use tool that automates the gathering of feedback and approvals from clients or stakeholders, specifically designed for marketing assets. We automate menial tasks in the marketing workflow so teams can better use their time on more meaningful work.

We are a lean startup. Our founders bootstrapped this company and we grow thanks to the love we get from our users, not because of venture capital money. We’re a remote team across the U.S., Argentina, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Mexico, on a mission to simplify approval workflows for everyone.

Job Responsibilities

As a Product Designer at Gain, you will report to the Head of Design and partner closely with cross-functional team members to keep your projects moving forward and ensure your designs are implemented beautifully.

  • Leverage solid design rationale to create elegant, intuitive and delightful mobile and desktop experiences.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our users through observation, research, and analytics so that you can champion their needs.
  • Work end-to-end, tackling complex user needs from sketching to wireframing and low and high fidelity prototypes.
  • Give and receive thoughtful design and UX feedback in weekly design critique meetings.
  • Reframe opportunities and dig into the real reasons behind user requests. Ask questions that get past the obvious to find the best solutions for our users.
  • Explore and iterate multiple design ideas to make sure you provide the best one.
  • Communicate your ideas and design rationale clearly and evangelize good design.
