Together with our client, a pro-consumer financial technology innovator and leader in the mobile technology and mobile banking industry, we are working to reinvent personal banking for the masses. The customer is one of the largest providers of reloadable prepaid debit cards and cash reload processing services in the United States.

• Validate data from the data sources through each step of the ETL process
• Write SQL scripts to extract data from source systems and compare them against extracted data
• Automate test efforts using ETL automation tool Query Surge
• Design SQL Scripting for complex SQL validation and testing
• Participate in formal reviews of business requirements and application designs
• Ensure proper test coverage based on requirements and design specifications
• Recommend best practices to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Coordinate with the partner, developers, and other teams to deliver the project as planned
• Contribute to the project with creative ideas to solve problems in day-to-day work

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Working in testing data transformation, ETL workflows, and ETL Testing (3+ years)
• Strong in QA Engineering with around 7 years of experience
• Using SQL to write complex queries and stored procedures for the last 5 years
• Familiar with data architecture
• Proficient in data migration, reconciliation, cleansing, and transformation projects
• Understanding data warehousing, or data repository
• Aware of Agile methodologies and SDLC concepts
• Experienced in Amazon Redshift, and tools like Aginity/Workbench (as an advantage)
• Able to understand the business and technical aspects of the work and communicate with different stakeholders in a suitable way
• Adaptive and proactive
• Accustomed to navigating through the work routines with minimal support and guidance
