Job functions

As a DevOps engineer, you will work with a team of talented PMs, developers, designers, and QAs to provide DevOps solutions and technical support for industry-leading applications. Your performance will be measured on an annual basis and you can expect annual pay increases and promotions based on your good performance.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Experience writing code professionally
  • Experience with cloud solutions and distributed systems
  • Experience in working with multiple languages: Python, Typescript, PHP, Bash
  • Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge and experience with containers (Docker or other), container orchestration (Kubernetes or other) microservices, and their interactivity
  • Experience with monitoring technologies
  • Solid understanding of an application build lifecycle & steps needed to validate a build
  • Experience automating and managing builds
  • Experience with implementing CI/CD with Jenkins or other tools
  • Proficient in Git
  • Experience and Pragmatism
  • Proactive and willing to learn new stuff
  • Intermediate-level spoken and written English
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Desirable skills

  • AWS Cloud experience is preferred
  • Some experience writing IaC (infrastructure as code) and nested CloudFormation templates to enable deployment between many AWS accounts treated as isolated and separate environments
  • Familiar with CloudFormation, Terraform (CDK is a plus)
  • Familiar with implementing CI/CD inside of AWS (CodePipeline, CodeBuild) artifacts, ECS resources, and automatic CI/CD integration
