Project Manager / QA in Corbin and Brooks

Corbin & Brooks is a small privately owned fully remote software and web development company.

We work closely with a limited number of clients on a long term basis to develop web and software applications and serve as their development team for their projects.

We are currently looking for a competent project manager who loves gathering requirements, organizing JIRA boards, talking with clients, zoom meetings, and communicating with our internal team to move projects forward. Our mission is for every project to be on time and within budget.

The project management position won't take the entire 40 hour work week, so we are expecting this person will also perform QA tasks approximately half of the work week. QA requirements will be learning how to run projects locally, testing the features developed by developers, and reporting bugs and issues found.

The project manager will work with clients and our internal team to ensure that tasks are being accurately defined and prioritized according to client wishes. In addition they will QA completed tasks to ensure they have been done to meet requirements.

Their success will be measured by client satisfaction!

Experience in some form of technical project management. Software development project management preferred.

Must speak English fluently.

Enough technical knowledge to perform QA tasks, and willingness to learn how to set up new environments to run code for new projects.

Experience with communicating with clients directly.

Experience with software QA.

Experience with project management on software projects.

This position is a contract position and the applicant will not technically be an employee of the company, but there will be an expectation of 40 hours of work per week.
