Responsibilities

  • Penetrate the identified addressable market in Chile & South American Countries and establish new customers for TIMining, with particular focus on TIMA by:leveraging your extensive network of mining contacts to hunt for leads and opportunities; using carefully segmented audience and value messaging to find the right first contacts; andmaintaining and building strategic relationships with existing and potential customers and industry contacts through the sales team.
  • Actively promote TIMining’s products, with particular focus on TIMA in the region.
  • Ensuring adequate sales pipeline to support penetration and growth objectives.
  • Close deals.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to penetrate and then grow the region.
  • Demonstrate a high level of effort and dedication to the creation of regular, accurate sales forecasts.
  • Ensure professional delivery of sales processes – follow the established sales process steps for each opportunity, quality documentation, effective coordination of sales responses between different internal departments so that sales expectation can be delivered, quoting and creation of functional specifications to company standards, adherence to adopted approval processes, compliance with financial management processes.
  • Manage and sell customer expectations that can be delivered and supported in a sustainable and profitable way.
  • Actively collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to keep abreast of competitive forces and develop mitigation strategies
  • Grow TIMining’s revenue from the Chile & South America region by:working with Regional Business Development Manager to establish achievable and stretch targets for South America sales;developing and maintaining corporate customer relationships, coordinating activities to deliver more account revenue; andmanaging the sales process and personnel to achieve sales excellence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in complex sales.
  • Experience in mining software sales highly desirable.
  • A practical knowledge of mining and key customer business improvement needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or, Engineering (Mining / Electrical / Electronic) or other relevant discipline (highly desirable).
  • Considerable commercial experience in mining, software, technology.
