What You'll Do

• Lead and participate in the design and deployment of major shared infrastructure components to improve the consumability, availability and scalability of our infrastructure
• developing high quality playback experiences

• 4+ years of engineering experience. You’re a strong engineer comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments
• Solid engineering fundamentals (CS degree a plus)
• Experience working in Typescript, Python, Go, or C++
• Video codec experience specifically in H.264, H.265, and VP9 H.265
• Strong experience with video streaming technologies (HLS, DASH)
• Experience with live streaming
• Experience with DRM systems (PlayReady, FairPlay, Widevine)
  • Experience working with distributed systems

• Experience with WebRTC
• Experience in analyzing and improving performance of CDN infrastructure
• Knowledge of advanced and emerging video standards such as HDR10 and Dolby Vision

CANDIDATE RATE $/HOUR: $60
