Senior Ruby on Rails in Dominion

• Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of core backend systems that interact with apps, devices and third party services.
• Support user facing apps with millions of users, build a study platform used to advance medical research, or develop efficient systems to securely integrate with health and fitness data providers.
• Define and review Technical Design Documents
• Learn new technologies and frameworks as needed
• Ensure that technology standards and best practices are maintained across the organization
• Work with a highly-driven team

• 5+ software engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and its frameworks
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Postgre)
• Building RESTful frameworks and integrating APIs
• Working knowledge of AWS and its services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS etc)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders
• Fluent English
