Learning Tech Expert in Talently

Talently (500 Startups W19) is an online program for tech professionals in Latam that helps them hack their way to their next remote job by developing their career, tech and English skills. We do so aligning incentives: participants only pay the program’s full fee once they succeed in getting hired. In average our Talents double their salaries in 12 weeks 🔥.

We’re looking for a driven individual to join our team as a Learning Tech Expert. The job’s goal is to work hand in hand with our Head of Learning in the development of our Tech Track's sync and async content to help our Talents perform better in their technical challenges and coding interviews. We want them to be able to get the jobs they're looking for!

To achieve this goal, you’ll be responsible for these and other activities:

• Research, benchmark, compile, analyze and/or report tech trends AND hiring trends and how companies assess tech skills in their candidates
• Propose and design the Tech Track's curriculum
• Create written content, scripts and engaging learning activities that enhance the async training process
• Coordinate with the supporting material/media creators and handle tight deadlines (audio, video, graphic design, etc)
• Work with assessment strategies and data to measure the effectiveness of the content and async activities

You have the following experience and education:

• Coding expertise in a Senior level (Engineering degree is a nice to have)
• Previous teaching experience (or lots of interest in this!)
• Previous working experience or strong interest in recruitment, talent, outplacement or tech
• Some knowledge of adult learning styles and teaching in online platforms (nice to have)
• Lesson planning skills (nice to have)

You have this Skills:

• Not just excellent written communication skills but you also love to write
• Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced and remote environment
• Strong attention to detail (you can spot a typo from a mile away!) and follow up skills

• Have a degree in Psychology, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communication, Business, or similar
• Have experience in the tech industry or enjoy to use it a lot to solve problems, especially no-code tools
• Have worked in coding Bootcamps, tech recruiting or similar experiences
