Our client is an online travel company for consumer and small business travel. They own numerous well-known vacation rental online marketplaces and make 500+ AI predictions a year. 200+ sites have a selection of properties around the world with detailed descriptions.

Our mission is to empower travelers to discover relevant options at every step of their travel journey and become travelers’ must-have partners.

• Facilitate the end-to-end product life cycle for mid to large-size projects, in design, development, testing, and deployment efforts while providing operational excellence and support
• Advance the team's design methodology and quality programming practices; guide and support junior team members to adapt standard methodologies
• Understand independently time and cost constraints, and impact on other teams to reach sound resource and architectural trade-offs
• Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur, and present technical issues and their impact on leadership
• Continuously improve software and development process with the Agile development team
• Mentor team members and advocate for quality coding, design, and optimal processes
• Conduct code reviews

• Strong in Java, demonstrating 3+ years of experience in designing scalable and robust technical solutions end-to-end
• Using Spring, Dropwizard, or any similar web framework
• An expert in SQL, NoSQL databases, Maven, Docker
• Confidently working with code versioning tools, such as Git
• Knowledgeable of Kotlin and GraphQL, as it would be a strong plus
• Familiar with gRPC, Kafka, and GitHub Actions
• Result-oriented, applying critical and analytical thinking
• Delivering high-value projects and ready for active skill set growing
• Capable of communicating in English fluently to offer solutions and cover project needs
