Our company is seeking a skilled back-end developer to join the VAN dev team.

• Develop and maintain innovative web-based PHP applications.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Implement automated testing and unit testing.
• Connect applications with external API services.
• Collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

• Solid knowledge of object-oriented PHP.
• Solid knowledge of Laravel 5 Framework (Laravel Queues, Laravel Horizon and Laravel Telescope).
• Solid knowledge in database management (MySQL).
• Solid knowledge of Javascript.
• Solid knowledge of local environment software (Docker or Laragon).
• Good knowledge of AWS (CLI, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Redis).
• Good knowledge of Linux server command line / Ubuntu.
• Good knowledge of Unit testing.
• Good knowledge of GIT.
• Good knowledge of Agile.

• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for 2 years.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar relevant field.
• English level intermediate.
• Creative and efficient problem solver.
