Target Test Prep seeks a full-time UX/UI Designer to improve existing products and create new ones. Working closely with UI designers, the role involves developing advanced designs from start to finish. The goal is to deliver high-quality designs that meet user needs and exceed expectations.

Job functions

  • Create flows, wireframes and prototypes with a strong aesthetics in mind.
  • Be able to provide direction to UI designers.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the platform, not only in reaction to request.
  • Rely on qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions.
  • Provide clearly defined specs and interaction guidelines to the Development team.
  • Work closely and autonomously with Developers and Product Managers to test and review online product enhancements to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Step outside the design realm when appropriate to contribute to the team and overall company mission.
  • Present work to all levels of the company with confidence.
  • When necessary, lead, coach, and mentor other designers on the team.

Qualifications and requirements

  • A creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, an exceptional aesthetic eye for design and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Proven experience in designing user-centered digital products, with a focus on web and mobile applications
  • Expertise in creating aesthetic wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows using industry-standard tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility standard processes
  • Ability to analyze data and feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on existing designs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work creatively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of concepts from HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript in order to communicate with developers.
