Job functions

  • Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering.
  • You will craft, implement, and execute test plans and test suites based on specification documents and access to databases.
  • Develop/monitor quality program metrics to evaluate the project’s performance.
  • Responsible for defects tracking and bug management during the whole software development cycle.

Qualifications and requirements

  • This position requires a results-oriented individual with strong creative and analytical skills who can contribute in a diverse team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 3+ years of relevant testing experience, within backend service application.
  • Experience with object-oriented languages such as: Java, Javascript, C#, etc.
  • Experience with common software development tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, etc.
  • Proficient with DevOps, modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, and automated integration tests.
  • Excellent English communication skills

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work.
