Senior Front-end Developer in Pulsar

Pulsar is a Stanford Tomkat Center spin-off and is backed by top venture capital funds and angel investors.

We are looking for an experienced frontend developer to lead our frontend software engineering team. You will work closely with Pulsar founders and some of the best backend and machine learning engineers to build new features for our core product (SaaS web application) and internal admin tools.

• 5+ years of frontend software engineering experience
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience
• Experience leading a team of software developers
• Strong experience with React Hooks, Next.js and frontend fundamentals (HTML5, Typescript and CSS3)
• Experience with responsive web design using Bootstrap and Media Queries
• Familiarity with Node.js, Redux and React Bootstrap
• Familiarity with Mobile development
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills
• Results oriented and with a very strong customer focus

• Experience building dashboards and using chart libraries (D3.js, ChartJS)
• Familiarity with Figma
• Experience building software products at an early-stage fast-growing startup
