At Graviti we are building the future of how families in LATAM access basic services. Through Graviti low-income, unbanked families can purchase products such as solar water heaters, purification systems or rainwater collection systems to cover their basic needs. We offer financing for all our products, bringing our users closer to financial inclusion. We are reducing social inequality with the use of renewable infrastructure powered by IoT technology.

We are always improving our web and mobile apps to offer a better experience to our users. Our challenge is to continue to automate the sales and underwriting process so we can reach more people in a scalable way. That is why we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer.

Job functions

You will:

Work with a wide range of systems, processes and technologies to own and solve problems from end-to-end
Build new features for internal and external users
Uphold our high engineering standards and bring consistency to the many codebases and processes you will encounter
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization such as product, design, infrastructure, and operations
Work closely with the team to help define technical direction and architecture.
Work closely with Product and Engineering managers to break down projects into well-defined engineering focused tasks and estimate effectively.

You’ll join a small team responsible for building and supporting the main web app and related services. You’ll collaborate directly with the CTO and engineering team. As well as with product managers, designers and sales team to develop improvements based on user feedback and to build new features.

As a Full Stack Engineer you'll be in charge of building end to end solutions based on React and Django. Whether they are customer focused solutions or internal tools.

Qualifications and requirements

You may be fit for this role if you:

Have ideally 3+ years of experience shipping high-quality products
You have experience working with React on the frontend and Django on the backend.
Enjoy being a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems and delight users both internally and externally
Thrive in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts
Take pride in working on projects to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
Can stitch together many different services and processes together even if you have not worked with them before
Can put yourself in the shoes of your users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
Enjoy working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design
Work to foster close and effective relationships within the team: you actively listen to teammates, practice radical candor, and lean in to productive disagreements.
You’re accountable for the work you commit to. You proactively communicate blockers, delays, and surface potential hidden complexities.
