Full-Stack Developer in Geoselfie

Geoselfie develops the latest technology for custom distributed photographic system across the world. We are currently scaling up our infrastructure and require several developments that ensure our systems remain of highest standards. We develop our own software in C++ and Python, which resides in distributed units that connect to a master services backend to finally display the information to our clients and partners. Geoselfie is an interesting fusion of computer vision, machine learning, database management and UX design. That is why we are looking for a full stack developer, to support our progress and improve our current services.

Geoselfie is seeking for a full stack engineer who will be part of a team responsible to continue the development of both back and front end interfaces, and most importantly develop and improve computer vision algorithms which are the core function of Geoselfie.

This full-stack engineer will work as part of a team of two engineers, responsible for maintaining and developing the Geoselfie products.

• You should be proficient in C++ and Python.
• We work strictly on Unix system and you must be proficient and efficient using terminal and handling compilation and services.
• We will also need some experience with react-JS to conduct updates on our current front and back ends.
• All of Geoselfie's code resides in the cloud (AWS), we require a candidate who is familiar with the following AWS products: CloudFormation, S3, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, among others.
• Geoselfie values autonomous and proactive employees, in this role you will be supervised and supported by our lead engineer.

• It is desirable if the candidate some computer vision knowledge in OpenCV and management of Database systems, mainly SQL.
• It is desired that you know GIT and unit testing.
