Responsabilities

We are looking for an Engineer who is capable to featuress from scratch, follow best practices and agile since project administration point of view. You need to be team aware and communicate constantly but also be autonomous in terms of looking and proposing solutions.

You will be part of the early team, working directly with the head of product and tech and founder team. You will need to solve interesting problems regarding user watching sports video highlights, this means, video interaction, sdk integration, modern animation implementation, among others. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of The Highlights App.

Develop Typescript / React-Native main application in order to evolve features.
Work together with backend collegues to integrate services.
Work together with UX/UI designer in order to implement very precise UX proposed.
Follow best practices regarding software development engineering including Unit testing creation, documentation, definition, among others.
Kanban / Scrum member tasks, such as update description, status, dependencies, estimation, among others.
Follow Gitflow best practices
Report directly to our head of product & technology
Resolve support requests on a day-to-day basis.
Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.

Qualifications

Soft skills

Agile and Engineering best practices follower.
Neat and organized person: Use team tool and be good updating statuses.
Excellent team communication and sync skills: We work fully remote and be in sync is very important to be a team.
English: You need to be able to understand read and spoken English, also be able to write in a fluent way. Talking English is important but not the most.

Technical Skills

3+ years experience as a typscript react-native developer, solving problems.
Typescript / React-native knowledge
Unit testing understanding and implementer
knowledge about HTTP API implementation
Knowledge about Graphql API implementation
Knowledge about Authentication techniques as OAuth, JWT, Basci Auth, among others.
GraphQL knowledge
Gitflow experience
Linux / Unix based operating system and services basic understanding
Play Store and/or Google Play store publishing process knowledge

Desirable skills

You are practically in if you also accomplish 3 or 4 of the items of the list below

Working with wvdeo apps or video internet experience
SQL and NoSQL databses experience
Attention to detail and flexible and focused on solutions
