Senior Back-end Developer in Eva

Eva creates technology solutions to democratize access to health services in developing countries. You will work within a product team with experts in user experience, front-end and back-end development, and machine learning, as well as with the founders of Eva. In this product, a successful backend development results in empowering the clinician with new and better tools, allowing them to save thousands of lives.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will build the architecture and services for the new product. You will be working in the new stack using Django and Python. Your knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure will shape how we create these services. The position requires someone with autonomy capable of handling complex technical decisions.

• At least five years of Python development experience.
• At least one year of development experience with Django.
• At least one year of experience using AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS).
• Experience developing REST applications.
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Experience with development tools like Docker, make, and git.
• Experience working with unit or functional tests.

• Experience using GraphQL.
• Experience developing with Java.
