We’re looking for a Junior Atlassian application administrator to join the SoftServe team. Our team works with a variety of Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jira Service Management.
The team works with large instances of Atlassian Cloud and Data Center products. DevOps experience is a plus and would potentially allow broadening the job scope, but our main focus for this position is inside-the-app administration & optimization.
Our Clients are the companies located in the USA and Europe, whose businesses cover healthcare, education, finance, and other areas.


  • Atlassian configuration requests & products optimization;
  • Atlassian 3rd party add-ons & integrations;
  • User guides & trainings for customers;
  • Communication with client’s stakeholders, identifying and implementing their requirements towards Atlassian application;
  • Challenges to find the best solutions for the customers.


  • 1+ years of experience administrating of Atlassian products: Jira, Confluence, JSM and other.
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills
  • Stress-resistance, ability to stay cool-headed in tough situations
  • Strong problem solving and research skills, real desire to help people to fix their problems
  • Ability to work in a team as well as Multi-tasking
  • Personal motivation to be a quick learner, organized, and responsible

The following experience will help you to stand out:

  • Previous expertise in customer support or system administration
  • Technical background, a basic understanding of ITIL processes
  • Communication with native speakers
  • International exchange programs participation


  • Help customers with migration to Atlassian Cloud
  • Work on the improving the processes for the customers
  • Work on the solutions focused on customer success
  • Work with complex questions and resolve issues in Atlassian tool set
  • Help customers to implement their Atlassian related requests
  • Implement major\minor system upgrades (upgrading JIRA to new version etc.)
  • Be involved in communication with client (participating in weekly meetings etc.).
