Job functions

The Role

We’re looking for a new Bilingual Content Specialist for Prey to work on our Marketing team. We need a passionate writer who’s proficient in English and Spanish, up to the task to make our company’s voice heard in the entire world. We will select a savvy, curious team player with a keen interest in cybersecurity and the technology market.

You will be working side by side with our Brand & Comms Manager to improve our brand awareness & positioning initiatives in key markets. We are looking for someone who can blog and write long-form pieces comfortably and swiftly, but who also knows how to get the word out in different formats, simply and effectively.

The Work

  • Help to define & improve, in conjunction with the Brand & Comms Manager, our content marketing strategy
  • Produce different types of content for our blogsite to enhance our traffic & brand recognition in key markets (US/UK, CL, MX)
  • Assist the marketing team for all integrated marketing campaigns launched through content to be used in different channels
  • Collaborate in the ideation, planning, and execution of acquisition campaigns, besides the spectrum of inbound content (events, talks, activations, etc.)
  • Assist product marketing/inbound marketing specialists in the development of compelling content when needed

Qualifications and requirements

The Skills We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in copywriting, content creation, written media, or a related role
  • Flawless English and Spanish writing skills
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business in various types of content
  • Experience in content creation for tech companies or experience writing for a tech audience in digital and/or printed press
  • Knowledge in related channels, such as mailing or social media
  • A knack for seductive storytelling with an SEO-driven mindset
  • An analytical mind and interest in using data to optimize/scale blog marketing strategies and tactics
  • Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts

Desirable skills

Extra Points for the following:

  • Experience working for tech/security companies, especially in key markets (US/UK, LATAM)
  • Experience with Inbound Marketing or other forms of marketing strategies
  • Communications-related background
  • Experience with marketing tools such as ActiveCampaign, Google Analytics, WordPress (or a similar CMS), and Intercom /or similar alternatives/, such as Hubspot, Drip, Drift, etc
  • Experience in audiovisual projects (if you have a podcast, we’ll gladly hear it!)
