Product Owner in Tango by Greystar

Who are we? Tango is a tech start-up (within a leading multinational rental company) that provides an end-to-end long-term rental experience for owners and renters through a digital platform and professional service team. Services include: For owners of rental apartments: photos/videos/floorplans of unit; creation and commercialization of listing; tours; renter evaluation; online lease signing; move-in/out inspection; rent collection; rent guarantee in case of non-payment; maintenance request management; legal eviction proceedings; deposit management For renters of apartments: complete, validated listings; online scheduling of tours; virtual or in-person tours; online application, with no guarantor needed; online rent payments with credit or debit card; maintenance request management; guarantee management.

What will you be doing?

1. Collaborate closely and constantly with other team members, partners and customers to understand the needs and priorities of the business, clients and team; continually refine and adapt; identify opportunities and risks.
2. Develop a technology roadmap to enable Tango to achieve its goals, complete with product vision, strategy, features, milestones, and prioritization.
3. Own and execute product roadmap- through third-party development team.
4. Manage the relationship with the third-party development team and other IT providers integrated with our app (ex. payment platform); ensure a positive and effective collaboration.
5. Work in an Agile environment; drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment; map out and prioritize epics, features and use cases; decompose analysis for dev team.
6. Determine KPI’s for product; track and report; incorporate data insights back into product plan.
7. Improve the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers; advance the product to achieve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and minimize need for additional headcount.
8. Conduct continuous process flow analysis and re-design; gather feedback and input into the user experience.

Experience and Education

• 7+ years of professional experience in technology including most of the following:
• Developing and delivering projects for early-stage ventures (ex. startup, new venture within a high-growth company, new product)
• Managing tech projects from an early-stage and growing platforms into maturity
• Working with Agile methodology
• Proven track record of delivering product solutions with a customer-first mindset
• Managing key partner relationships
• Working with a platform with a mix of digital and on-site operations (preferable)
• Working with multi-national tech platforms (preferable)
• Great eye for design and user experience; UX/UI experience a big plus
• Knowledge of various programming languages and software programs
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (ex. Engineering, Computer Science)
• Ideal past roles include Head of Product, Product Owner, ScrumMaster, Head of Digital Transformation
